Shaping Tomorrow's Built Environment Today

September Meeting – Tour of GLEE!

We hope you all can join us for our tour of NWTC’s Great Lakes Energy Education (GLEE) building.  This building is net-zero capable and serves as an educational facility for students to get hands-on experience with energy efficient trades and concepts.  It is fitting that the building these courses are held in be highly efficient as well.  The HVAC systems we will look at will be a VRF system with geothermal heat pumps, a dedicated outdoor air system, and the energy monitoring system displayed onsite.

Jason Leffingwell was the lead engineer on the project during his time at Performa Inc in De Pere and will be leading us through the tour beginning at 4 pm.  We also hope you are able to join us after the tour at Gallagher’s Pizza across Mason St for a bit of socializing and pizza buffet.  Please RSVP to Jake Warden (contact info below) by Friday, September 7.

Remember, if this is your first event that you’re joining, we encourage you to find one of our board members in attendance wearing a blue ASHRAE shirt, and we’ll help get you acquainted with the group and our chapter.
